for sound quality I love those "round-back" Ovation guitars. I don't know exactly what the model name is.
for playing, I prefer a hand made spanish guitar with gut strings and a wide fret board and a "tap" board. I learned to play guitar in Spain from a spanish guitar player. I like to use my thumb and I hate picks. It may sound snobbish but I only play F and G as a bar chord so all other chords require moving my fingers into place (rather than just sliding from fret to fret). I have short stumpy fingers ergo I need a wide fret board.
Which means that as much as I love that round back Ovation, I couldn't play it.

Heritage guitars without a doubt. Handmade by luthiers who worked in the Gibson factory, Kalamazoo Michigan, but started the Heritage brand when Gibson moved and they stayed behind.

Les Paul - Gibson. What a great guitar. So easy to play, strings so close to the fret board, just feels fabulous.
