If you notice there is a relation ship between them.And its that, they are the consecutive powers of 5.
Look:- 1=5, means 5 raised 1, result=5=5
2=25, means 5 raised 2, result=5x5=25
3=125, means 5 raised 3, result=5x5x5=125
4=625, means 5 raised 4, result=5x5x5x5=625
5=? therefore, this means 5 raised 5, result=5x5x5x5x5=3125

If one equals five then five absolutely must equal one.
If you actually intended for the solver to derive a pattern in numeric advancement you should've made that more clear. Such as :
1/5, 2/25, 3/125, 4/625, 5/?
or :
Complete the sequence - 5, 25, 125, 625, ___?
But you did say one EQUALS five. So five EQUALS one. It's easy... And there is no way around it saying "no that's not what I meant" because the more simple solution is for me to assume the numbers and symbols mean what they are supposed to mean.
This is a trick question or poorly worded.
