it varies widely. millions of degrees in the proximity of stars or near to absolute zero if it is far from any heat producing object. p.s. absolute zero is only a theoretical temprature, the current belief is that nothing can actually reach this temprature.

Could be very hot, depends how close you are to a star. Lowest temperature would be 3 degrees Kelvin (Big Bang radiation, present everywhere)

if you are in the dead of space not anywhere near any sort of celestial body. (between galaxies) the temp is just slightly above absolute zero -459.67 °F.
