I am not sure about this destiny matter. does it mean that no matter what decision you make and what ways you go it will bring you to the same spot?
or does it mean that the "free will" is a huge lie, because you are bond to make decision you make?
I want to belive it is all up to me. and even if I am "desingned" to end this way or another I want to decide which way I'll get there.
and, hey, how can you know you already fullfilled it?
Live well, laugh often and love much.

I think that destiny determines the purpose of life. Destiny continues so purpose is never truly fulfilled.

I don't think that destiny and purpose are the same thing. A person's destiny only ends with his or her death. It's a continuous process.

A purpose, on the other hand, may indeed be singular. Once you fulfill it (ex. a male spider inseminates female spider), your life becomes devoid of meaning, provided that this purpose was all that you had.

That would imply that thier destiny is not a complete plan of thier life.
So, either destiny leaves some room for free will, or everyones destiny must conclude with thier demise.

Perhaps the actual destiny bit is an ongoing thing - if you were meant to be -lets just say an aid worker in africa, once you became one you would've fulfilled your destiny but you would continue to practice it.

The way I understand destiny is that it ends when you die. So under this assumption, yes your life would have no more purpose because it had ended.

You are alive because you did not fulfill it yet. A person who fulfilled his destiny will not be required to live further here. He will be called back.
