join a free league either on yahoo, espn, msn, nfl, sportsline there are many websites you just have to sign up for a free membership and join a league. I would also suggest doing a live draft but the biggest problem with these leagues is that not everyone follows it the whole year.

you go to nfl.com and click on nfl fantasy then you choose the fantsy option you like and follow the instructions.
