What he failed to include is that the United States (and he allies) are not directing their attack at civilian targets. The civilian casualties are a result of the war started by the Islamic Extremists who don't care who dies as long as innocent people die. The USA is not hijacking passenger planes and flying them directly into buildings. The USA is not sending suicide bombers in to night clubs, weddings and other gatherings with the sole intention of murdering as many people as possible. The USA is not trying to gas hundreds of people in train and subway stations all over the free world. These atrocities are being committed by the Islamic Extremists who would like every to believe that Islam is a religion of murder, suicide bombings and blatant atrocities against mankind. Fortunately, the Islamic Extremists represent a very small minority of the Moslems worldwide.

I agree that it was not terrorism that started the two gulf wars. the first Gulf War was caused by Saddam Hussein and his desire to violate the sovereignty of our friends in Kuwait. The second Gulf War was George W. Bush's war of opportunity to take out Saddam Hussein under the guise of the War on Terror. If the Islamic Extremists had not committed the atrocities of 9-11, which was also preceded by the attacks on the USS Cole in October of 2000 and the 1998 bombings of the US Embassies in the East African capital cities of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Nairobi, Kenya, then Bush could not have started his War on Terror and he would have had to find another reason to start his personal vendetta against Iraq and Saddam Hussein.

Other than that, name ALL THE WARS that the United States of America has started. We all know that the list of atrocities committed by the Islamic Extremists is exponentially larger than the number of wars started by the USA. You can count the wars started by the USA on one hand. You need several hands to count the number of kidnappings, beheadings, hijackings, car bombings, suicide bombings, toxic gassings and other atrocities committed by the relatively small number of Moslems who we correctly categorize as Terrorists.

I am not saying ALL Muslims are terrrorists either. I am aware of the Irish Republican Army and several other European and Asian groups who have committed such activities as well. Becauase muslims believe that they need to convert the entire world to their beliefs, even by force if necessary, they blow themselves up in market places, in cars and fly planes into buildings in the name of their religion. Corruption in the government. I am American and my husband is Palestinian Muslim. Do I think Muslims are terrorists? Of course not because my children will be Muslim even though I am Christian.
As a teacher of Kindegarten I read what the Prophet Mohammed says about treating kids. Mohammad says that children should be treated with respect like little adults. In the christian it says that children should be hit and punished. I am a Christian, however, I agree with Mohammad on how to treat children. It works when they are treated like little humans I think it is very beautiful what Mohammad taught about children and about peace.
