Hello dear!
How have you set up your trip?
If you have only the tickets to go and return, then in Athens, if it is your first time, pay your respects to the greatest construction ever by people: the Parthenon, get to a couple of museums, walk in the evening around Plaka, visit some place around the Athenian coast.
Then, get to Olympia, Delphi, Sounion, Aegina.
Time to return to reality! Your trip to Myth and the land of Heroes was short, but great, eh! wasn't it?

OOHH-we just went to Crete last month. Be prepared for lots of sunshine and don't take much to wear. If you're near the beach the breeze off the Med Sea is fabulous. Be prepared to be wowed by all the history & architecture. The food is great-go to a local taverna and soak up the atmosphere. We did an all inclusive resort-and basically did nothing for 5 of our 7 days. You'll love it-the Greek culture is wonderful. Have a good time and treasure every moment.

It depends what you want sea or mountain? for sea i recommend any greek island, begining from Poros near Peiraius port to Santorini or Rhodos. For mountain you could go in central Greece Pilio, Olympos, or more north in Thesaloniki, Whatever you decide have a nice trip!.

then do the beaches and the night life.

If in Athens, then many places in and around Athens will give you a lot of answers! Further, you could take day trips to Olympia, Delphi, etc.
