why does the repo man come?

I pay my bills and my sims put it in the mailbox and it says minus so much....but the repo man still comes?

ok ok....on this....game created by EA games called The Sims 2.....which is the 2nd version of the sims....

if you dont have an answer....get a life....stop answering for points....or do YOU people not have a job?

I do use the cheat motherlode
(ctrl - shift- c)

and yes its with all of my lots

I haven't downloaded anything for Sims

You might have a glitch in your lot. In this case, usually if you move out buy a new home for the sims in question, the glitches will go away.

It is not normal game play for repo man to take things if your bills are getting paid. The mailbox on the lot might have a glitch or hack. If no other mailboxes are misbehaving and especially of the house where the problem is happening is a download... you might have a hack. Moving to a different house/lot, should fix this.

You wrote that the problem happens on all your lots. You didn't say if you downloaded houses, mods and objects which are items that can cause conflicts *WITH EACH OTHER* and thus create these sort of problems.

This is very likely not a glitch. If you have installed the PATCHES then you need to work on removing the hacks.
Try downloading the hack scanner and remove everything that is reported to be a hack. go here:

You might try removing the LATEST hacks that were installed first. Rather than removing all of them, since this is a behavior it sounds like you didn't experience before. The problem may not be caused by a reproman type hack! It could happen because of conflicts between game modifications you have accumulated.

If you want to keep your older hacks, do be aware that some hacks only work with older versions of the game. New EPs add new dimensions to the game and the code may interfere or conflict between mods that were not written by Maxis.

What I would do (and I had to do this one time in the past) is remove every single hack, then go and replace them one by one with the newer hack versions. I use Mod the Sims 2 for my hacks if I'm using hacks. Now I also put hacks into their own subfolder off of the main download folder. This makes it easy to remove old hacks now or replace them with updates.

I don't know what a "Breach of Peace" is but i'm sure the repo men didn't do this. Someone knocking on your door isn't breaking any law. Also, it's common for repo men to come when no one is expecting it. When they get the proper paperwork, they can come take the car whenever they want. They don't have to give you a chance to get your stuff out of the car. I have to disagree with Ranger4402. You can't fault the repo men for doing their job. People can't expect to keep a car if there not making the payments. Repo men are @ssholes because they have to be that way to do their job. If you don't want to deal with a repo man, pay your bill on time.

try to check the mail as often as you can, so you can pay the bills right away. if it still keeps happening, it may be a glitch. it could have come from a hacked object you downloaded. try reinstalling the game if the glitch keeps coming up.

maybe you need to pay what you owe to keep the repo man off your back...Good luck..i know its tough for alot of ppl now days..maybe you need to get some help to pay your bills or if you are able get a second job,if you DO have a job.

Did you keep cancelled checks or money orders? Have they been cashed? How far behind did you get with payments? Read the fine print, they may and could have taken it after one missed or late payment
