David Duchovny did an interview for parade magazine and he mentioned in the interview that there was going to be another x-files movie.

I sincerely hope not, the original movie was lukewarm so by the law of averages sequel is going to be no better.

Sadly, I don't see it happening. David Duchovny did say in Parade that it was a go, but then Gillian Anderson got pregnant.
I'm leaning towards no, but hey, anything's possible.

in a recent interveiw David Duchovny (Agent Mulder) stated that yes there will be a sequel and that the cast is all signed on already
