I lived in Temecula, CA where the temp ranges from 22ºF. to 110ºF. I planted Oleander, clistemon (bottle brush), Queen Palms, California Pepper Trees, Washintonia Palms, Red Bud trees, Euryops, Liquid Amber trees, Acacia trees, Coastal Oak, Bald Cyprus, Black Pine, Peach, Plum, and Satsuma mandarin orange trees with no problem. Use drip irrigation on time clocks and you will get amazing results.

the night blooming flower is of the cactus family,,,it can with stand high high heat,,,and is reallly beautiful !!!

its definitely a challenge..........but there are lots of water tolerant species you can grow to make your space more tropical .
