YES!!!!!!!! I think they would slit America throat to get their foot in the door of the white house. No ethics. They and the news media are closely related, if not one of the same.

No, I think that it's spread around fairly evenly among both sides. I remember the hatred and criticism the Republicans heaped on Clinton when he was in office. You don't have to agree with someone to have a modicum of respect for the office and the things that a sitting President has to deal with. I voted for Bush in both elections, but I am not proud of how we acted as a party during the Clinton administration, and believe we should remember that when we cry about how this administration is being treated by the Democrats.
I don't know what it will take to close the gap between the two sides, or if it will ever happen. If not, I don't know what the future will hold for us as a nation.

I do not agree that Democrats are "hate mongers".
Hate mongers do not seek to criticize a particular person; i.e., the currently elected President. They seek to defame and destroy a race, ethnic traditions, religious beliefs, or an entire political group, employing vicious, inhumane acts.
Adolph Hitler was a "hate monger". Joseph Stalin was a "hate monger", The U. S. Government was a "hate monger" in choosing to "wipe out" Native American Indian tribes.
The "hate mongers" are using every opportunity to "defame:, "undermine", and "destroy" the people of the United States; our beliefs, our trust in our executive, legislative, and judicial system.
The U.S. Constitution allows "freedom of speech", which allows criticism. Only here, in the U.S., are you given the opportunity to ask the question you present. Only here are you free to choose who you support or oppose.

I think the Americans would be better off with a one party dictatorship. From the sounds of your question and many others like it you would be happy in a system where criticism of the leader or party is punishable by imprisonment or some other persecution, pillories pop into my mind when I say that. How can you have democracy and want to suppress free thought?
I think hate mongers are those such as yourselves, who so totally lack confidence in their leadership that they fear any sort of criticism and stoop to vile lows suggesting that criticism of governmental policy is tantamount to treason. Maybe you and your kin would be happier in a place like Cuba, critisize Castro and you go to jail.

Are you suggesting that conservatives have never criticized a president - even during wartime? Laughable! Remember Clinton? Remember Kosovo?
Let's just accept that it's okay to criticize the president in the U.S. You can't brag about our freedom and then suggest that anyone who exercises such freedom is full of hate.

Criticism of George W. Bush isn’t something that is reserved for the Democrats… Many of the international community believe he deserves every bit of criticism that is aimed at him!

No.
Just because you call an individual a criminal doesn't mean you hate everyone they are associated with. Granted, some do.
But many make the essential distinction between those who commit criminal acts and those who just happen to be affiliated with the same political movement or party.
For example, Bush publicly admitted to willful violation of federal laws (18 USC 2511) and was acknowledged by the US Supreme Court as having committed actions that our own laws define as war crimes (18 USC 2441). I would expect every American to stand up and say that he should be held accountable for his actions.
But that doesn't mean his entire political party is at fault. People should not hate entire groups -- be it a party, a race, a culture, a nation or a religion -- for the criminal actions of a few individuals. Even if those individuals may be the current leaders.

Nope. I think they care so much about the country that they want a change for the better. Bush has done a terrible job and time for the dems to take over in 2008 and fix the problem. War in Iraq, economy, foreign relations etc.

Yes - it comes from the top (Dean) down.
We complain that peaceful Muslims do not speak out against the terrorists...
Do any liberals (in high levels of the party) speak out against Conservative bashing? Oh yeah, Joe Lieberman...and where did it get him? It just isn't done.
