If you have an older model television. Say from 1996. Can you get digitial cable on it?

Digital cable requires a decoder box from your cable company. This box will have a video output or a modulated channel 3 signal that you can plug into your old TV.


I hope that answer about "overpowering" your TV was just a joke.

You may beable to get digital, but it may also over power your older T.V and cause it to burn out.
