No you can cut all the glass you want, if will eventually wear away to nothing. The only thing that can possible scratch a diamond is another diamond of better quality.

It might fracture if it has a flaw in it, if it is in a setting like a ring you may damage the setting, My favorite two glass cutters are diamonds . They are industrial diamond, but still it is diamond. They do eventually wear out, the carbide wheel types last quite a bit longer because they have no friction to deal with.

Ideally no, for diamond is far haarder than glass so it will leave a scratch on glass and not otherwise.
However if yopu start using you wedding ring as a glass cutter on an industrial scale it will eventually wear out

No, u can cut glass with a diamond. A pure diamond does not get scratches on it. It may develop cracks due to pressure, age.

the diamond will not get scratched, because at school one of my subjects is science and my teacher said that diamond is the hardest mineral according to the moh's scale of hardness. diamond is on the top of the scale. its hardness is 10!
