Why hasn't Bush made an apologized for lying to get us into a war? Why doesn't he allow pictures of the caskets coming home from Iraq? Why does he continue to kill Innocent women and children by the thousands? Why do prominent Republicans continue to criticize the Bush policy and administration? Why does Bush continue to lie and be dishonest to the American people he was "selected" by the Supreme Court to serve? Why ask why??

None of that proves anything. They circled a bunch of stuff with a red thing and interjected their close-minded opinions. Who the **** cares who took the pictures, or even who doctored them? The fact of the matter is that people are dying over there, and their dying has nothing to do with a bunch of pictures, fraudulent or otherwise.

They did.
They printed a retraction. Apologized for the photo. Fired the photographer who took them, and pulled every one of his photos from their archives.
And it was actually Reuters, not the NYT that obtained the photo. From a Lebanese citizen, by the way who was trying to make the situation in Lebanon look worse than it was.
