Tax payers have money taken from their paychecks against their will to run the government.
The government uses that money to pay for the weapons it uses.
So, YES the taxpayers are helping the government get its weapons.
They would have to refuse to let taxes be taken out to stop it.
Imagine if all the citizens of a country filed as tax exempt??
