Xenon - they are brighter and last much longer. Xenon bulbs are HID - high intensity discharge type. You cannot swap the bulbs as the voltage is different and HID have a control box.

The numbers 9600 and 9500 are probably the kelvin numbers which describes the the colour of the bult. The wattage of standard headligh bulbs are in the range of about 50W (normally 55W)

Refer to the car manual for the correct type, wattage and holder specification.

Use the stock wattage - many cars have plastic components in the headlight that cannot take the extra heat of a higher wattage bulb. You may get melted wires, or you may get the reflector to melt.

Xenon can mean a couple of different things. One is a type of HID arc light bulb - these won't work correctly with the original equipment anyway if you have conventional headlights. Then there are bulbs that have a filter to remove some of the light and make them look vaguely like HID bulbs - avoid these, as they put out less useable light and don't really look like HID's anyway. Last kind of xenon bulbs, and the only ones you should consider, are simple halogen bulbs that have a little bit of xenon in the gas mix. These are a little bit brighter than regular halogens.

Xenon and concealed are literally not the same ingredient. 'Xenon' seem are halogen filament bulbs which offer a blue tint. frequently no longer a lot brighter than usual, yet might want to correctly be utilized as an instantaneous alternative. fee is somewhat low. Xenon concealed bulbs don't have any filament and use an electric powered arc to create person-friendly. they're more effective extreme priced, and require very extreme voltages - meaning for most automobiles you ought to operate a 'ballast unit' that generates the voltages. you'll get aftermarket ones for most setting up sorts, yet make constructive you purchase good high quality ones, or the person-friendly trend might want to correctly be suspect and sturdiness adverse.
