I want to see live images of the united states as seen from a satelite. I mean could I see cars and trucks going down the hiway?

The best you can do for free is Google Map. Satellites come in two basic types. Geosynchronous and low earth orbit. Geosynchronous satellites are too far away to see the detail you want. They "hover" over a single spot above the earth and are useful for seeing hurricanes and other large features. Low earth orbit satellites are mostly military. They can see the detail you want, but they "fly across the sky". They cannot stay and observe a single spot on the earth for more than a minute or so. Also, you have to find such a satellite with an orbit that passes over the spot you wish to observe. Aircraft are better suited for the type of observation you are talking about.

I'm sorry, but the information you've asked for is classified due to national secuirty reasons.

You can purchase civilian photographs taken roughly some 15 years ago- the French seem to have the best examples.

Be prepaired to spend about 30 dollars a year for access for such information. Good luck

the only thing i know of is google earth
but they are not live pictures it is updated like once a year

hmm i dunno of any.. but that would be pretty cool.

i do know of google earth.. but those are photos and taken like 5 years ago
