do you swallow it in spite?

can your heave it left or right?

Chewing gum does not lose its flavour on the bedpost overnight, but you must stick it behind your ear while you eat.

Yes it does. It also loses its flavor when put under the dining room table, under the kitchen counter, and under the front porch. As a young child-- before Mom broke me of the habit-- I tried all these locations and more. But the only reason it did was that I chewed most of the flavor out before saving it for future chaws. The one that kept its flavor best was Beeman's Clove Gum, but I don't know if they make it any more.

No, gum is just suger, wax and rubber. When you chew it your spit mixes with the sugar that's what gives it the flavor. When you put in on the bedpost your spit dries up and it stays in the soild form until you chew it aging.
