I really want a lip piercing but not the pain. I'm thinking of getting a fake one but I dont know how it works. Does anyone know a good store to buy some?

There are two ways, the piercing is either a clip or a magnet and piece of iron depends on type of piercing you are imitating. A nose piercing is usually a clip on, but a belly piercing is usually a magnet. They are great for a limited time with limited activity. The reason a piercing works is because it makes a whole in the skin, a fake one is just on the surface, and where the piercing would move with your skin a fakey doesn't or might move in the opposite direction. I'd look on the net, but to tell the truth you will probably be disappointed with how well they work, there is nothing that compares to the comfort and durability of the real thing. Like a tattoo the pain is fleeting but done right the beauty last forever.

Ebay sells a lot of fake jewelry. The fake piercing works because there is like a magnet that hold the ring together, if you were to put it on your lip. Or there are some that are kinda just like clip on rings, that don't actually "Pierce"
you.

I used to have one that was magnetic and the polarity kept it on. I also had another less sturdy one which was just held in place by pinching the skin from two sides (which hurt).
The on line store I bought them from folded so I can't help with that. But the magnetic ones are best in my opinion.

It's just a hoop with a springy back, you fit it on your lip and the springy bit keeps it on.

Some of them you just bend it and put it on your lip and it stays in place.

You can buy them from piercing stores, markets, discount stores etc.
