What did you propose to your boyfriend? Marriage? It normally happens the other way round. You have known each other closely for 5 years. Assuming that your intimacy wasn't physical during this period, didn't he ever express a wish to see you in the nude? If he hadn't, then suddenly making the marriage conditional to your appearing nude before him is rather queer. He'd get to see you nude and also make love after marriage. So what's his motive? Whatever it is, it is suspect. His demand doesn't appear... well ... normal. Overall, it is safer to say "NO".

YOu sound like you are in a country that doen't allow young women and men to be nude together. But yet your culture is progressive as I understand you proposed to him. This is strange for me.
But to answer your question, if just being nude is his requirement to marriage then why not. But it can only be nudity. No touching and kissing. The body is a beautiful thing. I think nudity is an honor to the loved one if you were to show him. But the waters flow both ways. You two should be able to see him nude. As long as there is no sex between you... love has it boundaries. Seeing you and him nude together is an act of love that stretches beyond the bounds of cultures.
Good Luck

Getting married is a huge decision. Everyone has different convictions and sense of morality. In my opinion, he's not asking for you to have sex with him once, or to perform an act. He probably wants to make sure that everything is as it is supposed to be. Also, probably wanting to eliminate any less than appealing surprises later, once it's too late.
If you're uncomfortable with it, perhaps asking him his reason for wanting you to disrobe prior to the nuptuals. If you are wanting to get married, then you should be comfortable enough with him to openly discuss his reasoning.

This should be a personal decision for you. You should tell him if he loves you, feels the same way, both of you should appear nude at the same time, so neither one of you wouldn't feel ashamed or better yet, wait until after marriage.

it sounds like he really only wants you for your body, i would discuss it with him and let him know if thats all he wants then he really doesn't love you. if that's the case i would either try to show him that there's more to love or consider a temporary break-up to let him know that you're serious.

tell him not to pressure you. althoguh you two are obnviously close. tell him you are not comfortable with being naked infront of him or anybody else for that matter. if you two are as close as you discribe he will understand. btw if he loves you so much he won't keep presuring you to take your clothes off
