Shouldn't people be able to ask questions without being judged?

Why are people called "weirdos" and "druggies" simply for being curious and not afraid to ask interesting or unique questions? I mean, if a question isn't immoral but just different, you have no reason to judge that person. People should be judged for being immoral, not weird.

I remember in 5th grade kids gave me a hard time just because I asked "Why don't fish get electroccuted since water conducts electricity"? Some kid said it was a stupid question and just thinking "How the h*ll was that a stupid question? If anything, it's a smart one." People shouldn't call something stupid if they don't have a reason.

Yes they should be able to ask anything. That's why I don't ask anything. People are meanies.

I wish that when I was 9 years old that I would have asked my father if I could be shocked by peeing on an electric fence( the answer is yes you can!) Sounds stupid to some but look at what happened! I never make a judgement on what is a stupid question and what isn't, because I don't like being judged or called stupid myself! What may appear perfectly plain to one is not for another!!

There are users here in different age groups. Some of whom have not experienced life yet (teenagers and tweenies). Of course their questions would be different from someone who is 35 or maybe even 25. But also keep in mind some people are here just to be mean. The best advice I can give is ignore them.

Some people are so rude and inconsiderate of others. don't they realize that by asking questions that is how we learn. I don't think any question is stupid if they are serious about what they are asking. You just keep on asking questions. Try to ignore the sarcasm. They are just showing how stupid they are by being mean to others.I agree with you about people being judgemental.

The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked. If you don't ask the question you'll never know the answer. But there are some stupid people up here that don't even ask questions, they just type something and don't even read it to see if it makes any sense.

I agree.. it is better to ask if you are curious then to try something and find out it isn't for you or whatever. Last night I asked a simple innocent question and got called names, I just put it down to the fact someone must of peed in his cornflakes.. lol

Keep asking.. ignore the negatives...get answers..and enjoy!

I think people are just mean when it comes to some questions on here. I really get mad when people call me stupid and dumb for asking a question....i just try to get even by giving them a thumbs down for being *******.

If I stopped asking questions, because I was afraid of being judged, then I would never speak! That's life! Ask away, and you can learn a lot and have lots of fun too!

Ask your questions and don't worry. That classmate was just being an a**whole. The questions are the only way to learn! As for your fish question, which was quite logical, it reminded me that there is one way fish can be electrocuted. There are electric eels that stun fish to catch them.

I know I asked a question and after like 15 answers I hadn't had one actual answer to my question Everyone was was callin me crazy and a b i t c h and still no answer my feeling actually got hurt I was serious about my question and got no serious answers and deleted the question my self I know it might of seemed crazy but I was serious
