I drove my car from Vancouver Canada and decided to stay in Los Angeles. I wanted to change my license plate to the California one. However, DMV is asking me to provide the document that proves the customs clearance of my old car. I am already settled here in LA for a while and where should I go to obtain the customs clearance paper? Is the procedure complicated? What else do I need to prepare? What is the closest point of customs that I can have this done?
