Talk to your doctor to get some suggestions and ask about being induced. If nothing works, and you go way over term, thats what they may do. I had to be induced after my third week overdue. You could also try spicy foods or nipple stimulation. This website might help.

You may be ready to have your baby, but maybe your baby just isn't ready to be born yet...try and be patient. Walking is wonderful exercise for you so if you can do a lot of that you'll probably feel just a little bit better.

I am one week off from my due date and would give anything to go into labor....NOW..**(hoping my water would break)**. It's getting harder and harder to wait, I know. What is your due date? I don't think that any of that self inducing stuff actually works. Our babies will come when the please. It's more fun to torture Mommy than anything else..lol. This is my first baby, how bout you? Let me know. If you need to talk my email is barrelracinbeauty19. just give me a holler!! Good luck!!

Honey.... That baby will come out when he/she is ready. Don't rush it ... Your baby is not ready yet and still needs time to finish developing. She/he will come the he/she is ready.
If you do happen to go into your 42 week, your OB/GYN will schedule an induction, so don't worry.
Good Luck!

When my Mrs was due and the baby wont budge I took her to watch Arnold Shwarzeneger's terminator 2 Her water broke midway due to all the heart stopping exitements. go get your partner to rent it.

Your doctor should induce if you are too far past your due date. You are doing the only safe things there are to do without a doctor.

Go in to see your OB/GYN and ask for a 'rough exam'. I had one on the day that I was due and right on schedule was in the maternity ward that afternoon.

Seem like to me your baby have it's own mind. Just relax and beside if it's too late...I am sure your Ob will do something about it.
