Riding the bus the first day of school is cool. There may be a day or two when you HAVE to ride the bus. This way you'll already know what to expect and who also rides the bus.

No. Trust me. I've taken the bus before and it SUCKS. You want to have the best first day possible because your first impression of the school year will stick with you.

Of course. It's not geeky to ride a bus. Some people have no choice BUT to ride a bus. I was a bus rider during my school days.

Sure. I always did, until my senior year when I got my 1st car. I was a pretty cool kid and I used to ride the bus to school regularly.

i did, my first day of 7th grade... and i almost missed the bus!!!! it almost left without me! i'm talking about school bus, if it's a public bus, i don't know. talk to your parents.
