Do you think that "piss" is a bad word?

My friend and I want to find out...Is piss a bad word?

According to George Carlin, it is one of the seven words that can;t be used on TV.

I find it very utilitarian. It is a verb( He pissed), a noun(yellow piss), an adverb(Don't give a piss), an adjective (piss poor).

I don;t think it is a bad word, it is a vulgar word. You would hear it on Jerry Springer and not in the State of the Union speech.

Depends on the context. Some ways to find out-

- ask a school teacher if they don't mind the students saying it

- say it in front of your pastor/bishop/deacon/etc and see how they react

- post this same question in a Yahoo! Answers category and see if it gets removed

I say it all the time but try and refrain from doing so in front of my kids because I don't like the sound of it coming from them so I think piss just may be an inappropriate word.

It's not a nice word. Like suck isn't a nice word. Girls really should use it.....lol
