ok, girl. do u plan 2 have a party @ your house? if yes, here r some ideas:

your decorations. they should resemble u, mayB your fav color or something that expresses your feelings as a teen. or lime green, orange, or bright pink, if u want.

when guests arrive, u should have a room 4 people 2 go in and dance. i recommend music, 2 (the slow dance kind, if u like).

later, the food. i would say order pizza B4 hand, and get a cake (how many people r coming?) and ice cream. a BBQ, if possible.

games, they should B your favorites, if every1 agrees 2 play. mayB something 2 do with earning candy and treats.

if it's a sleepover, get a movie and popcorn and "movie stuff".

since u r turning 13, invite a guy i like (i know, it sounds weird, but trust me, something good will happen. i promise)

if it is @ another place, follow the stuff, expect make reservations @ your fav place.

HAVE FUN!!!

If you have a $ store in your area they are a great place to get party decorations. The Dollar Tree always has a large selection of plates, streamers, banners, plastic forks in various colors, etc. Why would you need to have a bouncer, unless you plan on inviting people that you know will cause problems? Just keep them off the guest list. That will save you money right there. Maybe get a poster of your favorite band and have everyone that attends to sign it, and then after the party is over you can hang it on your wall.

first pick a theme: luau? midsummer night's dream (in october)? fiesta? masquerade ball? black and white?

next, if you're on a low budget i say u can really try the local dollar store or craft store for decorations like candles, streamers, noise makers, etc and party favors (if you're really short on money don't bother with party favors).

also, try to divide the evening into events so guests aren't bored. stock up on music and according to your theme pick food to match, example a bunch of tacos or pizza may even be cheaper. so maybe a little dancing, then some eating and then some games?? how's the weather in southern cal in october? do you have a yard? maybe you can use an open grill as a fire pit/entertainment area.

do you have an older brother? if so is he big? if so see if he can be the bouncer! go to wal- mart for party decorations, and maybe get lime green, orange, and bright pink balloons and fill them with helium but don't tie strings to the end and let them cover your ceiling, then maybe buy a notebook and cover it in those colors and have people sign it before they leave, instead of having thos little kid party bags get big paper bags and paint them the party theme colors and for the girls fill them with a poster of your favorite band/singer, nail polish, and maybe lip gloss and for the guys put in a poster, a picture of yourself(LOL), and maybe like a press on tattoo! set the food out on a big buffet table and let them dig in but make it finger food like chips, candy, sandwiches, and pops in cans. move furniture and make a big dance area for all of you guys.make sure to dress nice! you gotta look good gurlie!
