I try and try but when it finishes a box says open or save, i click save and then open but it dosent work can somebody help me...please

Click the save and then I download them into folder : C documents & settings ea games then sims two downloads folder which is a folder I opened up to put all my sims 2 downloads. Then when finished I unzip them and transfer them into ea games sims 2 DOWNLOADS folder and the objects appear in the game.
a nice website to get objects for free is The Sims resource.com, just register and then check the box where it states "free".

it took me a little while to figure this out when i started downloading stuff too. click save, and then browse for the folder you save it in. put it in the downloads folder that comes with the game. you can find it at my documents>EA Games>The Sims 2 (or the latest expansion pack you have, if you have any)>Downloads. once it's in that folder, its on your game! have fun! =]

your suppose to click open and then it'll finish, put all of your download file in your documents/ea games/downloads folder. OR you should go to this website: http://www.modthesims2.com/ they have the best downloads. even more then thesims2.ea.com and its all FREE. they have a tool that you can download with( they tell you how to us it) it puts the download where its suppose to go, you wont have to go through the hassle of doing it yourself!!!
