A mother is celebrating her son's birthday and he goes outside with his skateboard. He is hit and dragged by a man's (possibly a doctor) car. The driver realizes it, but just wipes his car off and keeps driving. The mother hunts this man down and I believe she threatens to kill him but the gun ends up being fake. Someone please tell me the title of this film.

Well i do not know what the title of your movie is. However, Sally Field and Keifer Sutherland star in a movie very similar. Field plays a mother whose oldest daughter is raped and killed the day of her birthday or something. The killer is easily found and the killer is played bu Keifer Sutherland. That movie is called Eye for an Eye.

Huh..now that is a stumper. I was going with the Sally Field one myself but the storyline isn't quite right.
Is this a made for tv movie or a big screen?
