Absolutely not. You cannot arresst 21 people in Britain and 40 people in Italy and call it a hoax. Osama Bin Laden openly threatens America and its allies over Al-Jazeera television. Do you think Republicans tell Osama bin Laden what to say and do?....I think not.

Interestingly the U.S. was the ones who pushed for the immediate arrest, the British wanted to wait until they had purchased tickets so they had very good evidence. Now it may be harder to make a case against them outside of they were playing around with explosives.
Bush was tipped off a couple days before the arrests and if you watch what the press secretary does he makes an abnormal amount of mention about the war on terrorism, how they are making headway.
Of course it was played up a good bit as a victory, but any party woudl do that. No doubt it does make things a bit easier for them now since "looky we done something good"
"the moon landing was probably faked. We have been to Mars more than the moon ,why?"
and there you go and loose all my support. The moon landing was not faked you can visit observatories and watch them bounce lasers off the mirrors placed by the apollo crews, along with if a probe is sent beside the moon it can still see the lunar landers. We also have never been to Mars outside of robotically, and robotically we have been to the moon.

Probably not. The British have not yet sunk that low, only the US, arresting awkward young men in Miami who have been conned into presenting themselves as "terrorists" to get financial support.
Already, however, it has been revealed that the timing was changed, more than likely to distract media attention from the Israeli bombing of innocent civilians in Lebanon and the US opposition to effecting a cease-fire immediately. The British wanted to delay the arrests to gather additional evidence; there was no immediate threat from these particular operatives. But US officials pressured them into the immediate arrests so that Chertoff could go on TV and take credit -- though, by the way, it was British and Pakistani efforts that uncovered the plot and identified the partakers, NOT the US agencies.
Trumped up? Probably not. Pushed up in time? Yes, indeed. Karl [Goebbels] Robe does know how to manipulate the press and maneuver the news.

I don't know where you live, but there was a commercial here for Sprite, the soda. This guy is trying to take one on a plane, but the woman security guard is waving a wand and saying "beep".
Did these terrorists see that commercial and figure,"Hey, they don't check liquids!" . If so, what are the ramifications of that?

innocuous human beings continually conflict through more effective as a effect of conflict. squaddies and Terrorists position themselves in harm's way by technique of their personal freewill. inspite of the undeniable fact that, civilians are not getting to make those selections. each and each demise of an innocuous is egregious without question and their suffering is what might want to be respected maximum in the perfect equation.

I wouldnt be a bit suprised .
The more advanced countries just invent their own terror and then identify it where they want it to be, so they can then attack to achieve their agendas.
You cant fight terror it is an idea "the war on terror" is just buzz words to keep the sheeples happy at home and not thinking too much.

i think it is a disgrace the way our government as well as the British government is trumping up these terrorists threats. terrorists spread fear. the people doing the most of this is our own government. want to be scared. 1 in 4 people in USA will die of cancer. 100,000 people died last year from infections caught while hospitalized for something else. your chance of being killed in an airline terrorist attack. minuscule.
