I was just reflecting on something and I am bored so I figured I would ask. It seems to me that society is only able to see a person's outward appearence. They are so lacking in any form of inteligence or compassion that they feel as though beauty is only skin deep, either that or they are too blind and oblivious to see beyond that point. Am I alone in my values? Is our world as I have come to know it as pathetic as I think? What are your feelings?

True beauty lies in the core of a person.There heart. They are beautiful in all ways and these aspects are never discovered if the absent minded youth of today only focus on the height, weight, and overall appearance. I also feel that it is wrong to neglect select few due to the fact that they are not considered to be part of th"In" crowd. It hurts me to see a person being abused either physically or emotionally due to there "skin" as you so inquisitively put it.

People normally respond to something or someone beautiful but it takes a lot more to decipher the person or the beauty behind it. Don't feel discouraged. You're not alone in this believe. There are a lot of people out there that's not shallow. Some people either grow up and some don't.

yeah i agree but once you get to know someone you see their beauty deeper than the skin
