Why do people enjoy watching 2 guys beating the hell out of each other (such as boxing or wrestling)... what's so good about it?

It is very cool! because they do amazing things that the people couldnt do.. always are fighting for one only purpose "be the best" they fight to get titles and prestige with the people that look at them. Is very good to see how they try to beat the other person using whatever you have. WWE is the best program.

If its done with true skill I enjoy it, because it is an art to defend yourself. Watching to clowns in the ring like "pro" wrestling is for absolute idiotes.

I like wrestling cuz it's all cartoons, funny and not serious. Boxing, forget it, can't see the reason for it other than the betting world.

There is nothing like seeing blood flying, teeth spitting, sweat drenching, fists a flying and someone dropping to the ground. I don't know what makes up all so terribly primal, but we just do love it.

I have no idea, I can't understand it myself!! My son liked wrestling for awhile and I would take him to see it in person. Thank god he's out of that now. Now I have to sit through scary movies cuz that's what he's into now, I think I'd rather sit through scary movies then wrestling.

u know wut, i really dont know either, but good question. i dont like it either, id probly be sad for the guy getting the crap out of the other guy. i like football, but thats about as contact sporty as i watch. some of the guys im friends with get together and have a game, i watch and chear the it on, its fun, but no serious violuence .lol

I don't care for any violent sport, including football. There is nothing good about hurting another human being, especially for sport.

it has to do with testosterone, the need to prove you're better than anyone else. they identify with one of the competitors and then 'attach' themselves to the person, so that if that person wins, they, by proxy, also 'win'. it's called 'reflected glory' or something.
