Just from #9 and #8, this must be the USA.

I am surprised to see 17 of the top 20 uni's in the world, I would have expected only 12-15, with more European and a Japanese institution in the mix there...

I would put Oxford and Cambridge in the top 20, which leaves only one more Uni outside the USA. That's a surprise!
