there is not a set formula for making sure of safety, not only on 15th August but all 365 days in the country. but security agencies are on their toes for the safety of the country men. it is our (citizen's) duty also to help in this regards.

Indian Govt. is taking good measures by beefing up security at sensitive areas. This time they started preparation in advance becos of the bomb blasts in Mumbai. The blasts came as a pre-warning for something bigger on 15/8. Wish you a safe & happy Independence day.

By being VIGILANT of our neighborhood and locality.
Asking questions if you feel something is or someone is doing anything extra-ordinary.
Informing the police in the vicinity.
Taking a stand.
