It is a distinct possibility...yes. There are simply more female hormones circulating in your bloodstream when you are pregnant with a girl...so a lot of women will get sicker when pregnant with girls than with boys. Thankfully, after the first three months, the hormones equal out and you shouldn't be so sick.
Good luck to you!

Don't think it has to do with the sex of the baby, but the amount of hcg in your bloodstream. If you are curious as to the sex of your baby, and you know which encounter brought about pregnancy, you might look into the Shettles Method. If you know how close to ovulation you were and what position you used, you should have a better idea of the sex of your baby. (closer to ovulation for a boy, and deeper penetration).
That being said, I wasn't sick at all and I had a girl.

It all depends on the person and how much their body can take. Example: I have two friends that were pregnant at the same time. BOTH had morning sickness. One friend had a girl and the other had a boy. Hope this helped.

I'd betcha anything that it's a girl. There's research that suggests that women experience more 'morning sickness', which is a misnomer for a lot of us, with girls than boys. I know it certainly held true for me. I was deathly ill while pregnant with my daughter (I'm 5'7" and got down from 105 to 87 pounds) and although I was sick with my son, it was nothing compared to my daughter. I didn't lose a pound with him! So, yep, it sounds like a girl to me, but you just never know until your baby's born for sure (of course, if you have genetic testing you'll know sooner)
CONGRATULATIONS!!!

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I didn't get sick once. My best friend also had a girl, and she didn't get sick. But 2 of my friends are both pregnant now with boys and they were soooo sick.

It probably means that its a girl. my cousin was pregnant with a boy never threw anything up. got pregnant with a girl threw everything up. got pregnant again and started throwing up and guess what another girl. so since this pregnancy is different from your last then i would probably bet that its a girl. and plus its girl season. I'm 7 months pregnant and I'm having a girl and so is everyone else that i know. but one thing that's funny about it with me is that Ive never threw up to this date and I'm 7 months. but i bet you your having a girl. good luck.

I think that's an old wives tale. I have two boys, the first one I was sicker than he@# and the second one I felt great.

Could be. I've heard that before, girls make you more sick. It's probably just an old wives tale, but in your case, I hope it's true!! Girls are fun.
