Lebanon is a beautiful country with a dynamic culture and rich history. Unfortunately, at the moment, it is being controlled by Hizballah, a proxy of Iran, that is not acting in Lebanon's best interest. However, its great to hear that someone like yourself, who appreciates American values, wants to be a pasrt of Lebanon's future. Lebanon needs you now more than ever. The more freedom loving people in Lebanon who stand up for democracy, human rights, pluralism, and education...the greater chance that Hizballah will be marginalized and the forces of moderation and political stability will ascend to power. I hope that one day you will be elected to the Lebanese Parliament and that you take the best of Lebanese and American values with you, for the benefit of the Lebanese people, and to the credit of all people around the world who promote freedom and democracy.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Hezbollah is NOT a recognized, legitimate political organization in Lebanon. Do you remember the days before the Israeli withdrawal of southern Lebanon when they kept Hezbollah at bay? So many Lebanese are involved in the political process and were grateful for the Israeli influence.

You are only conflicted if you are unable to see past the hatred of wanting to destroy the Jews. Either that or you are conflicted because you are not true to your religious beliefs.

Choose this day whom you will serve.

Shalom alechem achi.

try to get a job in an embassy, or try working in a place where you would work directly with the people of Lebanon, not the government. If you resent hezbollah do not work with them. Try the UN, in some sort of relations job.You need to work with people that want to eradicate terrorism and get rid of hezbollah. good luck.

Use your brain. You are only caught in your mind. You say that you cannot be with Hezbollah because you are a US citizen but what about your conscience? Does it allow you to side with Hezbollah when it has armed itself with sole intent to murder the Jews?

yours is a problem with people of dual citizenship. however, you can never serve two masters at one time. you can only have one.
you love the american life... reality is you love their freedom, their acceptance of being free. any citizen of a country love their country but it's their leaders that jeopardize these things. they never consider people's will and love for freedom. well, not all, i guess....

thing is, as a citizen, one can only act as humane as possible to his countrymen. who does want to aide's one nation especially when crisis arises. yet, leaders play their constituents like pawns in a chess game. sacrificing more to gain power....

the only thing is to think, what can i really offer my country? what can i do to make things better for him? how must i serve my people without gaining criticisms in my actions? how can i satisfy them with? these are questions a politician must consider... one must be true to the constitution, true to the people, true to his words. one can surmise that with great power comes great responsibilities (quote from the spiderman movie). are you ready to do that? are you willing to sacrifice your claim to the people's will? will you submit to a cause, different from your principle? these you should bear with one thing in mind, "i must serve my country, do my duties with great concern and do what's best of my people, by the people and for the people".
