omg my friend is going through the same problem. except they have two kids. all you really can do is be there for your friend and pray, and hope for the best. its hard but the only way she'll leave is when she tells herself to.

More often than not, you can't make her understand, the best thing to do is to allow her to stand up for herself and decide when she's had enough, I know it's difficult to do as her friend but she will only push you away further and eventually cut you off all together. Be the best friend you can and listen to her, let her know that she deserves better than what she's gettin, most importantly let her know that when she needs you, you'll be there.

I think she need more help like from family members and you that it is wrong for her to be beaten and the child would probably have a better life without a man beating its mother

Nothing you can do, she need to figure it out herself, or she'll keep getting involved with the same type of people.

tell her family, because its not safe for the child to be in that environment over this hitting her, because the child sees his father hit the mother, he will think its okay for him to do it to his gf, or his wife.

She needs more help than you can give her. I am afraid there is not much you can do, as your girlfriend has low self-esteem and needs professional help.
