Recently, I was at a family reunion.
There I was reunited with a distant aunt that I have not seen since I was 5 or 6 years old. She said, "Timmy, you grown up! You're so big!" I replied, "Well aunt Sally - you haven't particularly shrunk yourself."
She got upset and left the party rather quickly. Did I do something wrong?

no. but she probly took what you said the wrong way. she might of thought that you were calling her fat. i no what you ment but its hard to say it as not in an insult way by calling her fat. even if you didnt mean to. thats kinda how it comes out.
