That show seems like it should have been on a lot longer then that. Is it really that young?

Oh me Lord. Used to watch that with my 30+ old "children". We all used to love it, and it was the best thing they could watch.

Even learned a little Spanish! :-)

Oh and Oscar the Grouch?? Loved him!

i saw a special on the show a year or two ago celebrating an anniversary and i coulv'e sworn it was their 50th at least. oh well...
my parents used to watch that show wen they were little and they're middle aged so thast really surprising.
but neways, i'm glad for them. it's a great show 4 toddlers, i used to watch it all the time and look at me now! -ihav an i.q. of 132 and am at the top of my grade!
and it all started with shows like sesame street, my mom told me that the language building games they ahd on the show, we used to play them all the while wen e were out like waiting in line at the bank and stuff like that. good times, good times...
big up Sesame Street! i hope u'll be running 4 many many more years to come!;)
