Kaustub has the right answer. It was played in England in the favourable conditions of the exceptionally dry summer of 1975. The final at Lord's was an epic contest between Australia and the West Indies, it was gripping and I was late for an evening appointment because it was so good. WI won but Aus did much better than they were expected to.
