if true why the people suffer a lot

I'm sure you'll get plenty of answers from people claiming to know that God either exists or doesn't. None of them know. Some believe, others don't. Some actually think they know. They are delusional, and ignorant. Everyone has their reasons for believing what they believe. Myself? I deal with the fact that I don't know. He (can we even call God 'he'? Why do so many people call him 'he'? What use does God have for a penis? Wouldn't God be 'it'?) MIGHT exist, and if he does, I am fairly certain he would understand my skepticism.
To answer your other question, God can coexist with suffering, for several of the reasons the believers have probably pointed out in their responses. It can come of our free will, or out of some necessity that we are unable to comprehend.

True.
If you believe in the concept of God as a puppet master in the sky , pulling the strings, then obviously he is false, but think bigger.
If there is a God he is the ground that we walk on, He is the sky above us, He is the laws of physics, He is within all of us, He is the ground of reality, He is your awareness, He is You but you are not him ... He gives all of us birth and the greatest freedom of all that is possible ... He allows us to be in danger, to die, to suffer ( and to feel bliss and love ) ... We really exist in a universe of total possibility ... anything else would be boring and shallow.
And, yes, we should all help those who are suffering but God is not the cause ... we are.
We are all connected ( brothers and sisters) ... know it! we are connected to the whole universe always by our very nature, but few understand that. That's why we do stupid things like war !
Light needs darkness to exist.
Hot needs cold.
We exist in the material world which could not exist without the pairs of opposites.
God is no Greek god of Olympus who toys with people, and He would never tell you to kill others " in his name" We/He/Her are all one with each other when we understand.
Even if there is no Being in the sky there is One in us.
God is true even if He is our own invention.

There is a God!!
Like someone else said, there is such a thing as 'free will'. God has to let people make up their own minds. If someone decides to do something wrong, that is their 'will' to do it.
Always remember: There are two main spirits out here. The good one which is God and the bad one which is satan. Satan, unfortunantly, has control over some people. Some of the suffering is due to satan wreeking havoc on the world, whereever he can squeeze in.
God does not want bad things to happen to us or for people to suffer. If you believe in Him and have faith that He is real and He will take care of you, then that is all He ask.
That does not mean that things are not going to happen to you because they will and they are. You have to pray and keep believing and he will pull you through the dark areas just fine and he will.
If you lack those things, then you leave yourself wide open for satan to come into your life and turn you in any direction that he possibly can. You will either end up in jail or dead.
Believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He is REAL!!

You are one of the millions of people who jump on here and look for some kind of absolute answer to everything that ever was, is, or will ever be.
The only thing that I can offer is opinion so respect it or disrespect it.
NO. THERE IS NO GOD, but there is a CREATOR. And SCIENCE is very close to finding out what, when, where and how this creator came into existence and what has happened.
A lot of people would be afraid to look into something that sounds like it's overly complicated (let's find out if you are one of them). The answer lies in String Theory, or the more advanced 'M Theory.' Read into the M Theory and you will see the ultimate fusion of philosophy, theology, and science.
When I saw the ramifications of the M Theory I just had to walk around like a zombie for about a week, I was totally stunned.

You have to decide for yourself what your beliefs are, but I believe God exists. God also gave us free will, and think about it:
if people didn't suffer, then how would we have compassion for each other? There is a positive side for every negative.

God is very real. People suffer because we, humans were given free will. Sometimes He puts us in certain situations as a test of our faith or to somehow become a blessing to others. Sometimes we put ourselves in that situation. Regardless, He feels our pain more than you know. We all go through things (good and bad) to form a testimony so that others may be blessed. The Bible says that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord. So not all bad situations end that way.

He is neither HE is REAL because he is God Almighty! The Reason People Suffer Is cause of Jesus DIED on that Cross and suffered as he was dieing he was saving Us from are Sin's and That was God's Son and God had to watch His Only Begotten Son Die on that Cross , so Yes God is Powerful we have to deal with the pain and suffering as well My Brother or Sister! as God and Jesus had to... its wriiten Believe and put you Heart into the Bible and life will change....

he is real... and we suffer so much becuz so many people turn away from him and try to do things their own way and in effect messes up his plan for our life... but one thing you must know is everybody suffers, if your poor you have things to suffer, if your rich you have things to suffer if your anywhere inbetween you have things to suffer, just think of all the suffering he went through i mean he gave up his life so we could have ours and the best thing about this life is knowing once it's done you go to a better life with him.
