"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

-- Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials

"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!"

You are right. The leaders of the country DO determine policy. Did you know that about 5 million Christians were also killed during Hitler's reign? He didn't care what religion you were. If you tried to go against him, you died.

What we have to determine today is what it would cost us to lose the war on terrorism we are trying to fight. We would be a weak country. The terror would get worse, not stop, because they want us DEAD. Other countries would not come to our aid because we could offer them nothing in our weakened state.

We have to do whatever we have to do in order to win this war against the Muslim terrorists. And the Muslims will not go against their own and with 25 percent of the world's population being Muslim, we had better win or our life will end as we know it now.

Sounds like the Republican conservative doctrine. LET THE SCARE TACTICS BEGIN. Bush and the boys are using SCARE TACTICS to take away our freedoms and privacy's.

Search engine monitoring, illegal wiretapping, banking surveillance, and a host of other freedom taking privacy invading things. It's all an excuse for "national security".

No wonder Bush doesn't want Bin Laden caught, because Bin Laden is Bush's Boogey man. And Bush uses this to scare us out of our freedoms and privacy's.

And when his approval ratings go down and election time comes around this fall expect Bin Laden to conveniently release a tape.

Click on this funny as hell clip to see how this administration is using SCARE TACTICS.http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/june2006/270606sevenretards.htm

If we did the right thing in the first place we would avoid having to fight a war that was never really necessary.
