Me and my husband have been trying to have a baby for about 10 months now. We both have a child from a previous relationship and had no problems. We can't seem to do it together though. I'm 27 and he is 34. I have been pregnant more then once and never had an issue. We tried an ovulation predictor and just recently started the BBT charting. Should I be concerned? My OB said sometimes it just takes some couples longer. But it's frustrating and I'm getting worried. Any suggestions?

Oh, man. I was in your boat at the same age. We tried for-fricken-everrrr and nothing worked. Well, nothing natural worked. We didn't want to bother with fertility treatments and all that. We got checked out, were told we were both still in working order (we already had one five years prior) but it still just didn't happen. We kind of gave up on it - we still thought about it, talked about it and didn't bother trying to keep it from happening. Then I decided to get serious about finishing my degree. I quit my job and got to it - made the Dean's list and everything. Six months later I was pregnant. Ain't that just the way??

Silly Mother Nature. She sure does have a wicked sense of humor. Good luck to you both - just keep trying!

Your OB is right,Sometimes it takes awhile to conceive.10 months is not really that long"i know it probably seems like forever"But it took me 3 yrs to get pregnant when i started trying. You are doing the right thing by charting and using a ovulation predictor kit.Just remember start having intercourse 2 days before ovulation and continue having sex until 2 days after ovulation,to make sure all bases are covered.Either have sex everyday or every other day, stay laying down for at least 15-30 min after intercourse.Dont use spit for a lubricant because it can kill sperm.I hope you the best of luck.

How often are you having sex in order to try to get pregnant. Having too much sex can lower the man's sperm count. It is best to have sex every other day starting about 10 days after the first day of your last period

Dont warry, you will be pregnant soon. Just tell your husband to try making more love to you, at least once a day for two months.

Try some more and if it doesn't work after three more tries, then you need to be worrying.
