As for what's the matter with this world? Simple, one word: PEOPLE! People are the matter. 99% of all people are ignorant, selfish, and greedy. Couple this with the fact that they are breeding at a horrifically unsustainable rate and you see why this place is such a mess.
And yes, our government is abusing it's power both domestically and abroad.

Sincere point. What other country could you claim, right now isn't doing the same? I'm not trying to justify. Don't feel all so mighty. Many other countries have been accused of abusing their power.

No,
You are not alone, there are millions of us who have had enough of the corruption and the abuse of power by this administration.
We want real checks and balances, not a one party rule.
There are people who are loyalist.
Loyalist give thier loyalty to a party or president over the country and constitution.
Patriots will fight to preserve the country by rule of law and constitution......
loyalist prefer to stand by bush than to defend the constitution of our land......
you are not alone and only 30% still believes in the illegal iraq war.

Of course we have. but the fact of the matter is we (by that I just mean my country) are a victim of the same thing as the rest of the world: Religion. Faith is a great thing. It is a personal INTERNAL belief. But religion is man's interpretation of belief. When we start listening to that instead of our own faith (whether it be Christianity, Judaism, Islam, or a personality cult) we doom ourselves to the world we have now. I say abandon religion and look internally for spirituality, if people did that, most of the violence in the world would be moot.

You cannot blame all problems on bush lol. He isnt smart enough to be an evil mastermind. The USA isnt abusing its power.. abuse would be subjegation of people, Annexing other countries etc. It is easy to be a critic, its hard to be the man making the decisions. In the end we have helped MANY countries. Did we abuse our power when we stopped the nazis? Noone seems to care when you kill your own people but if you kill the people next door everyone gets so upset.. doesn't seem right to me.

Probably. The USA fights when it has to so all of us can live the lives we live and love. If the USA has abused it's power, it is only because we have been forced, once again, to stand up for the country we call home.
