I would like to store my kid's unused toys in the attic. The attic has plywood 19/35 inches between the joist. There are 2 boxes, each boxes has weight about 12 pound (the box dimension is about 1x2x1) feet.

The trusses, if sound, will actually support several hundred pounds of weight before giving way. If you are concerned about the plywood flexing, simply lay the boxes longways perpendicular to the trusses. They should be 24" on center, which is the long dimension of your boxes. Therefore, the entire weight will be supported by the trusses.

At a minimum, the attic was designed to support the weight of the ceiling below and the insulation on top of it. It may have been even designed to support enough weight for living space, but not likely. However, even with the minimum of support, it also was designed to hold the weight of people (for short periods of time) so they could work in it during the construction of the building and after. So storing a few light boxes up there should be ok. Just don't over do it unless you get a contractor or architect to check the design specs of your roof joists.

A human can crawl around up there with no trouble. It can support two 12-pound boxes safely.

Just make sure most of the box is supported by the I beams, and you should be fine.
