I know a guy named Edwin Mccain sings it, but when I searched for its lyrics, some sites say its by Goo Goo Dolls!
"Here's some of the lyrics:
The strands in your eyes
the color them wonderfull
stop me
then steal my breath
emeralds from mountains
thrust towards the sky
never revealing their depth
Tell me
that we belong together
dress it up
with the trappings of love
ill be captivated
ill hang from your lips
instead of the gallows
of heartache that hang from above
Ill be
your crying shoulder
ill be
loves suicide
i'll be
badder when i'm older
ill be
the greatest fan of your life
And rain falls
angry on the tin roof
as we lie awake in my bed
you're my survival
you're my living proof
my love is alive
not dead
Tell me
that we belong together
dress it up
with the trappings of love
ill be captivated
ill hang from your lips
instead of the gallows
of heartache that hang from above
Ill be
your crying shoulder
ill be
loves suicide
i'll be...etc..."

I'll Be is an Edwin McCain song... released on his second album, Misguided Roses. It was a major hit single in 1998.

somewhat a lot something Dashboard Confessional has ever written. something formerly "A Mark, A project, A style, A Scar" (or inspite of that album identify is) is merely him and a guitar - quite common, very open, very heartfelt. a number of Barenaked ladies song is amazingly sweet in that sense. Modest Mouse and demise Cab for Cutie have some fantastic songs, even inspite of the undeniable fact that Modest Mouse has a tendency to apply more effective electric powered "effecty" sounds of their softer/nicer songs than a number of those different bands. "Ocean Sings Salty"(?) i imagine is one in all their songs that i really loved. I also dug "Polar Opposites", yet that's somewhat off-topic - it is more effective of a ingesting song i imagine. =) i'm merely stepping into a number of Smashing Pumpkins "different" albums... the "Pisces Iscariot" album has some fantastic softer songs on it - it truly is a B-area sequence, inspite of the undeniable fact that, so it truly is a mixed bag for constructive. (sorry, i do not save in options the titles, I merely were given the album the different day... it does have them overlaying "Landslide", inspite of the undeniable fact that, and that is somewhat killer) i have heard a version of "till the Day I Die" by technique of tale of the three hundred and sixty 5 days that i really loved. i have also heard a version of "The Quiet issues That no one Ever knows" by technique of sparkling that I loved very a lot besides. Hmmm. "Reinventing Your go out" by technique of Underoath is somewhat good, there is an acoustic version available someplace that's ok. "Swing existence Away" by technique of upward push adversarial to (acoustic version? i do not recognize if there is an electric powered version or no longer) grow to be very sweet. I have a tendency to love acoustic variations of punk songs, in case you've not observed. =) Jack Johnson is an acoustic guitar-heavy artist - in case you may imagine a surfer playing laid-back semi-funky-yet-very-easily-melodic song, that is Jack Johnson. "On and On" is an rather good album - i'd merely purchase the entire ingredient. Oh, wait, I did. =) and evidently i visit't ignore to instruct Coheed and Cambria. might want to no longer be what you're searching for, yet they do have some acoustic numbers, and some acoustic variations of their songs. good day, it truly works for me. wish a number of this helped. Saul
