if the men choose to be a macho or m. c. p. what can women do ?who is stopping them from showing their feeling s ? it is their choice. we the women don't consider it weak to cry. in fact it is our strength.it is because of this we win so many battles in our daily life. it keeps our eyes sparkling. men don't have courage to show their feelings. they are weaklings. that is why they don't cry.o.k. we the women of this planet have given full liberty for the men to cry whenever they want. if they can't cry by themselves we don't mind making them cry.& we will appreciate if they show their true feelings. i do hope that all the men are bold enough to accept this & start showing their true feelings. it is good for their heart.( medically also )ladies, do u agree with me ?

I personally believe a man is more of a man if he can allow himself to cry.
In my humble opinion, if a man can admit that he is human and has feelings that can be hurt, it shows that he is truly confident in himself as a man, self-assured, and not afraid to be vulnerable.
When my son would cry (as a child), his father would scold him, call him an inappropriate name (belittling), and tell him that a man doesn't cry like a wimp.
I, on the other hand, taught him the opposite. When he was with me and would get hurt (physically or emotionally) and cry, I would comfort him; then encourage him to accept all of his human emotions.
He is now 21. He is mature, self-confident, intelligent, and a very hard worker, but he also has a loving and caring heart. He is firm when necessary (in work and home), but kind in his dealings. He is mindful of the feelings of others when he must be firm, and shows respect.
He has enumerous friends, I've never known anyone who didn't like or respect him, and he is well-respected by his employees. And, he treats his wife with love and gentleness always.
I am proud of the man he has become, and believe it has, at least, partly to do with him allowing himself to accept his human emotions as part of who he is.
If you are male, and I'm assuming you are, don't let the society of today convince you that men aren't supposed to "feel" or hurt - or cry. I am one female who was twice married to men who had no "soft emotions", and am married now to one who does, and in my experience, men like my husband and son are more of a man than the "typical" man could ever hope to be.
So cry all you want... and feel good about who you are.

Historically, men have the leaders of the family, the hunters and protectors. See that the armies of the world are mostly men. In order to be strong, men have been taught consciously or not that they must not cry, but rather channel hat emotion into anger.
I know there are people that want to protend that the sexes are equal, but in some things they are not ,or rather they have not been.
These days, it is not as socially wrong to cry for men although most do not do it publically.

In the past, I think men were conditioned as boys not to cry. But in today's society, men ( and women) are coming to realize that it is normal and healthy for men to cry. In fact, many women appreciate a man who can show emotion and cry. It doesn't make a guy any less a man for doing that. It makes him more of a man, in my opinion.

Crying in most cultures is seen as a sign of weakness. Men are expected to be leaders and backbone of society.

It is okay for men to cry. It may actually be healthy to cry if the circumstances are appropriate. Crying can be a physiological response to an event that helps relieve emotional stress.

Men can cry too, I don't cry often but that's because I feel like I physically can't cry not that I don't want to, sometimes I try (not often though) but it doesn't work. It takes a serious amount of sadness or something to make me cry...

It's a cultural norm. Also, it is okay for men to cry, but only in certain situations such as the death of a loved one. Just crying because your sad or hurt in general isn't considered okay.
So, why is it not cool for women to be hairy? It's a cultural norm.
