Yes but they should ignore that standard and do unto Hezbollah as Hezbollah would do unto them.

Why would Hezbollah disarm ? They have NEVER respected any UN resolutions or any agreements that have previously been made. Israel is the epitome of an honorable country, in that they concede even when the other side doesn't , and look how they are vilified !!

we will have to wait and see .... but my guess is this isnt going to end while hezbolla is still operationally intact ... i could be wrong, but i just cant see israel letting them go now that they got them backed in a corner... and DrM ... so ur saying u support a group that isnt even part of the lebanese govt and is basically an army thats run by an extremist country, iran, just running free, operating and doing whatever it wants? Israel saw them as a major threat and with good reason i think ...just imagine what their strength would have been in several years from now .... then it would have been casualties on a monumental scale on both sides .... the facts are as repeated a hundred times in this forum .... hezbolla started it .. lebanon let them freely operate ... israel took that opportunity to undercut the threat ... lets just hope they finish them off for good so there doesnt have to be a repeat of this again.

Are you kidding man, israel on the first day of its war said that the main goal of this war is to disarm Hizbollah, at the middle of this war israel changed the north region's leader of its army & also changed its war's goal, only they hope to arrive Allitani river, but they falled, by the end of this war israel only want to stop this hell because Hizbollah killed a lot of israeli sodiers in the south, their men made the south as real hell, who is the winner? and how can the loser force the winner to become disarm?
I think the Lebanese government can do that by negotiation with Hizbollah & I wish they will accept.
As for the israeli army I think the real picture became clear now, its too weak, because they could not achieve any think of their goals, they could not disarm Hizbollah & the 2 soldiers still in Lebanon, they only successed in revenge by killing 1200 innocents most of them are children.
