They have different functions depending on the application but some common ones are f1 = help f3 = search/find f5 = screen refresh.

Those are called function keys. Different application have different Usage for them. Most of the time F1 is used for help.

they are auxilear buttons. They do different things, depending of the rogram you are running, ore the things you are doing. For more detailes read the controls help in windows or the help of the different programs you are in!

They have many uses. Go to "programs" "accessories" "accessability" then "online keyboard." There it will show you what each is for and how to change them if you like.
