I am trying to figure out how certain individuals always seem to know when I am posting questions. It's not that I don't like it. I'm rather flattered, actually. I JUST saw something called "watch list." Is THAT the answer? How does it work,if so? I have an inkling, but I'd rather know for sure. Thanks for taking the time to help me.

Hahaha...I am one of those "certain people". I absolutely LOVE your trivia questions. I don't have any of your things on my Watch List because that just watches a question that you want to keep an eye on to see what the answers are. In the evenings, I have my laptop handy when I'm sitting on the couch reading, working on a craft or watching television and every so often, I have your profile page up and hit refresh. It absolutely kills me when I miss one of your questions and it's already had a dozen answers before I see it. You should be flattered...I really, truly enjoy your questions. And believe me...I'm not a stalker and certainly no one that ANYONE should fear!

Watch list is questions that a person wants to keep track of so that latter they can go back and check answers.
They are not notifying anyone when you post a question.
What is probably happening is they are clicking on you avatar and seeing what questions you have posted and then going and answering them.
Or they just happen to be on at the same time as you everyday.
Ill show you by going and answering any open questions you have.

When i see a question i like and i answer it i add it to my watch list! then i can moniter the answers and see when it is resolved or in voting! We are not notified when new questions are posted! I watch your profile to see what questions you have posted and if i like them and know the answers then i go in and answer them. The reason i watch your profile is because you post lots of trivia questions and i really enjoy answering those types of questions especially the music and tv ones!!!!!

Oh my goodness, that is so true... the same certain people keep answering all of my questions, and I'm thinking I must be on those people's watch list. I have stuff on my watch list, but not because of the people, but because of certain questions I want to see... weird, huh?

I asked yahoo how to pick a "favorite" questioner, but have not received a reply. I put one of your older questions on my 'watch' list, and, even though the question is resolved, it's still on my "my Q&A" page. So I go and click on it and see what questions you have out there. I enjoy your questions. I always try to answer them cold turkey without research or seeing what everyone else wrote. Thanks.

you must have a stalker or two, maybe these are people that liked or really didn't like some question or answer you posted, as far as knowing when you post new questions all they have to do is click on your profile to see if you have posted anything new... I don't know maybe they have bookmarked your profile... either way sounds sort of freaky, hope that doesn't happen to ME. (looks around paranoid)

The watch list just watches the question.
hear me now and listen to me later when I say It's Not About You.

I think it's that special, unique smiling face you have. That makes you stand out from the crowd.
I almost had you didn't I?
Probably people sort of look for you unconsciously, or it's simply "meant to be".

they just like your question maybe, but they don't have the right answer so they'd rather put your question in the watchlist to see the answers as well..
