Yes, this is normal.
Your period actually occurs because when your body ovulates, it also gets ready to recieve a baby and provide food for the baby.
When the egg is not fertilized, it is flushed out of the body together with the 'food' (which is a lining within your uterus) in the form of your menses.
And this is when you have your period.
So your period is not merely blood but mostly also coagulated stuff that is actually blood and some other things like toxins, etc.
It will only be a cause of concern if you are having VERY heavy periods for long extended periods and have tonnes of it gushing out everyday.
You are very normal! ;) Don't worry about it. I have those too ;)

i know you said girls only but i thought id give it a go seeing as how im a doc for the services. it is coagulated blood. the best thing i can come up with is that its because you keep a tampon up there inside your vagina all day long and the blood has nowhere to go. so yes it will coagulate and look like jello.
have you ever had a bloody nose and plugged it up? then you later cough up a nice little glob of blood? its the same thing.
if you experience anything out of the ordinary like cramps that are more painful in conjuction with the jello like consistency of your period consult your doctor. its usually nothing but it could be a sign of something serious.

That sounds like clots. I'm not a medical professional, so I hesitate to say it's normal, but I've had small (one-half inch across) clot-like things among the blood when I've had especially heavy periods. If you're bleeding heavily, you probably want to get that checked out by a doctor or nurse practitioner.

Yes, that's normal. Your period is not entirely blood. All the tissue that lined your uterus in preparation for a pregnancy is shed out of your body. So, sometimes the consistency is different.

That's totally normal. When you don't have your period, your body is preparing for pregnancy; aka lining your uterus. When you have your period, your body realizes that you're not pregnant and sheds the uterine lining, the jello like substance. It's nothing to worry about, most girls get it

Yes that is normal. It is the blood breaking away from the uterus wall and sometimes that happens. But if it gets bad enough I would talk to my Dr about it or abnormal periods or bleeding.

Yes. It's just parts of the uterine lining that form every month. If fertilization does not occurr and an egg does not implant somewhere on the lining, your uterus sheds the lining each month. Thus, your period. It's normal, so no worries.:)

Very normally, sweetie. During your period, your body is shedding the lining of your uterus (it builds it up in preparation for a baby then gets rid of the extra when you don't make one). So it's actually tissue mixed with blood I believe. Nasty stuff, but very normal.

From a guy who has been married for a while, yes it is. It is indeed coagulated blood and is perfectly normal. Sorry I missed the 'girls only request' I was just surfing and bored...

Its completely normal. When you have your "period" blood and tissue lining your uterus are expelled. This tissue stuff is what helps the whole sperm and egg thing happen. Anyways, its normal, so dont worry!
